Ticket to Toorak was back in the winners stall at Casterton on Sunday after winning the BM 70 1200m.  After a good first up performance 4th at the Warrnambool May Carnival, the 4yo gelding by Northern Meteor was able to reward both his owners and punters when he started favourite in the last race on the card.

A gear change from blinkers back to winkers saw him able to settle just outside the leader early in the race before dictating the terms into the straight.  Impressivly he kicked again at the 100m when he looked threatened by the Darren Weir trained runner Vee Force.

Well ridden by apprentice Jordan Grob the 3kg claim worked in our favour bringing him back in the weights and enabling him to hit the line strong for a 1 3/4 length victory.

Congratulations to Rocket's big group of owners and Australian Thoroughbred Blookstock.
