A great day for the stable at Hamilton with a double thanks to fantastic runs by both Reward The Maid and Break And Enter.
Reward The Maid was able to break her maiden in the 1100m 3 yo race at only her second start in fairly impressive fashion. Ridden by Stephanie Thornton she settled mid field before chiming in at the 200m and letting down well in the straight she was too strong to the line. Matthew is confident she will go on to win better races.
Break And Enter was able to take out the 2200m BM64 and bring up his third win for the preparation. Ridden by Dylan Dunn he was caught 3 wide with no cover for most of the trip, so with no real favours in the run he was gallant to the line. Such an honest horse who tries every time he steps out.
Congratulations to the connections of both horses, it was great to see both groups of owners enjoying the celebrations.
