Being nothing other than a model of consistency since joining our stable with a third and two seconds in her runs prior, Fleurmosa went one better and got a win on the board at Ararat in the 1100m BM 58.
With blinkers on she jumped away fast from barrier four but jockey Dean Yendall was happy to take a sit third on the fence, two lengths off the leader. The gap opened on the home turn and she was able to chase down the leader and was too strong to the line.
Congratulations to her connections who are now being rewarded for their decision to give her a sea change at Wangoom Lodge. Matthew now feels she is looking for something a bit further, so will find a suitable race where she can be stepped out in distance slightly.
