After being there abouts all preparation, three year old Moshe gelding Safdie was able to break his maiden in good style at Swan Hill yesterday in the 975m sprint.

With a well judged front running ride by Jarrod Fry, he pinged the gates and settled two lengths ahead of the field before straightening and just kept going to lead all of the way and claim the race by ¾ of a length.

Congratulations to his owners Harvey Park Thoroughbreds, Safdie has now had 8 starts for 1 win, two seconds and three thirds.  Let’s hope he can now continue on his winning way.
