Homebred Testa Rossa gelding Rossatin was able to break his maiden status by taking out race two the 1200m maiden at the Warrnambool Oaks Day meeting.
First up after a spell, he was given a great ride by Damien Thornton. Slightly slow away, from barrier one he was able to hold his spot and settle third one off the fence. Coming to the home turn he held the favourite out and switched back to the inside and proved too strong to the line.
