Ex Weir galloper Red Sensation was able to score first up for our stable by winning the BM58 2000m race at St Arnaud on Saturday.

He jumped from barrier 8 with claiming apprentice Melissa Julius in the saddle and settled well in the back half of the field, one off the fence with cover.  Melissa then made a positive move on him at the 600m mark rounding the field and coming down the centre of the track in the straight, proving too strong to the line.

It was great to get him into the winners stall so early in his preparation and get a quick return for his owners.  Congratulations to his connections, we now hope Cordy will continue on his winning way.
