Pyrenees Express was able to win the last race at Werribee on Saturday the 0-68 1100 metre race in impressive style. She jumped well from the gates and Matthew Allen used her good gate speed to get her into a lovely position in the run sitting outside the leader. She travelled well in the run and never looked like she was going to get beat. She won the race by 1.5 lengths. It was great to get a win on the board as she has been racing very consistently without winning. Well-done to her winning connections who I know were thrilled with her great win!
