NZ import Prospettiva was able to break her maiden in good fashion at only her second start taking out the 1700m maiden plate at Warrnambool on Port Fairy Cup Day.

Jumping away slightly slowly from barrier six with Alana Kelly in the saddle, she settled mid field about seven lengths off the front runners with good pace on.  Coming into the home turn two tear away leaders had skipped away and had around a eight length lead on Prospettiva but she fought hard and chased them down to claim the race by almost two lengths.

Congratulations to OTI and her other owners who are sure to have some exciting times ahead with this promising staying filly.  The stable now have plans to send her across the Tasman to contest the Tasmanian Oaks.
