Primal Dreams was able to reward her patient owners yesterday by breaking her maiden at Terang in race 2 over 1600m.  The 4 year old mare by Primus has been knocking on the door for a win having weighed in at her past 4 starts.

Given a great ride by in form jockey Jarrod Fry having also won the first race, she jumped away well from barrier 3 and put herself forward in the field.  Slightly exposed, she sat off the leader in second position for the majority of the run before edging closer on the turn and taking over the lead.  She let down well in the straight and went on to claim the race convincingly by almost 2 lengths.

Congratulations to all of her connections, it was great to get Primus into the winners stall. Hopefully now she can continue on her winning way.
