Powerossa was able to bring up her third win this preparation by taking out the 1400m BM64 at Warrnambool yesterday on Koroit Cup day. Jumping from barrier 6 with Daniel Moor in the saddle, she jumped away well and settled in the second half of the field.
She relaxed beautifully in the run, tracking the favourite into the race before coming wide around the home turn and finishing off strong down the outside to claim the race by almost a length. She kept punters happy also by paying a healthy $12.70 for the win and $3.70 for the place.
