Bianconi galloper “Our Bottino” was able to bounce back into form with a city win in the BM 90 1550m at Morphettville on Saturday. Second up, after a disappointing first up 14th of 14 at Caulfield, he was able to dictate terms and hold off a late challenger in “It And A Bit” to the line.
Ridden by ex Warrnambool jockey Clare Lindop, he jumped well from barrier 3 and was able to cross and take up the running in his customary favoured position. He was then able to get a mid race breather backing off the tempo, to find again in the straight and proved too strong.
Congratulations to all of his connections, the six year old gelding has now earned almost $225K from 36 starts for 8-7-6 with his entire career being in our stable.
