The surface transfer from turf to synthetic after the heavens opened the day prior to the races in Ballarat, came as a blessing in disguise for So You Think four year old galloper Confusion.  After a disappointing last start performance on a heavy 10 track at Warrnambool, we had nothing to lose and as it turns out everything to gain when he was able to salute in the 1500m BM 64 race.

Coming off a seven week let up he jumped away well from barrier 5 with Dean Yendall in the saddle and was eased slightly settling back in the run just worse than mid field.  Approaching the turn he was asked to make his run, coming the widest down the straight and fought on well chasing down the leaders to claim the race by 3/4 of a length.

Congratulations to his owners, this now brings up his second win from 11 starts and just shy of $75K in states.  Hopefully Confusion can now continue on his winning way.
