Hors La Loi was able to break her maiden status and take out the first race on the card at Murtoa on Saturday, the 1600m maiden. Coming off the back of some consistent form, the four year old mare by Bushranger, jumped well from barrier one and was able to settle nicely in fourth position on the fence.

Given a well timed run by Dean Yendall she angled out on the home turn and slowly but surely made up ground on the leader to hit the front right on the line justifying her favoritism.

Congratulations to her connections who are loyal stable supporters, the first of more wins to come in the future.
