Luckless 4 yo So You Think mare, You Would Think was able to break her maiden today at Terang in convincing fashion. Having her third start for our stable after a transfer from the Hayes, Hayes and Dabernig yard, she finally found some luck in running to take out the 1400m event.
Given a great ride by Jarrod Fry from the wide gate, she was probably further back than intended but Jarrod was able to get onto the back of race favourite Wessles and then peel off to the outside of the track making up plenty of ground she let down well to claim the race by just over a length.
Congratulations to her patient connections, Matthew is confident she is a progressive mare that will continue on her winning way.
