Consistent Choisir galloper Mai Shiny Choice gave his trainer something more to smile about today when he was able to bring up his second win for the preparation at Casterton, taking out the BM 64 1400m rising stars race.
Restricted to apprentice jockey’s with Teo Nugent in the saddle, he jumped ok from barrier 2 and went forward early to take the lead by a length and dictate terms. Coming off the rail into the better going on the turn, he was joined by race favourite Evil Cry but just kept finding and fought hard to claim the race by 0.2L in a lead all the way display.
