Three year old New Zealand import Wrote To Arataki was impressive today at Sandown in a last to first display over 1200m on a heavy 9 track.
Jumping only fairly from barrier eight in a nine horse field with jockey Mark Zahra on board she wasn’t bustled and settled at the rear. On a day where nothing seemed to be making any ground from the back she looked to have a lot of work to do coming into the turn. With eight lengths to make up she came three wide then peeled the widest on the turn to storm home and win by two lengths.
Congratulations to her connections who have a very progressive filly who is now building a nice resume with four starts for two wins and a second.
