Get back run on horses often have hard luck stories but all went well for Stardom Awaayts in his last to first display at Ballarat in the 2000m 3 yo and up benchmark 64.

Jumping ok from barrier 7 with Jordie Childs in the saddle he drifted back and settled last in the field about nine lengths off the leader.  Tacking on and coming the widest on the turn he joined in at the 150m mark and let down strongly to claim the race by one length.

Congratulations to his connections, this is now his second win for the preparation and takes his stakes to almost $150K.
