Four year old Toronado mare Intellective was able to get her preparation off to a flying start with a win at Terang in the final event on the card the BM58 1400m race.

Given a positive ride from the gates by jockey Dylan Dunn, he was able to overcome the widest barrier (11) and pushed forward to settle outside the leader.  Intellective kicked in the straight when being chased by the Symon Wilde trained race favourite Aurora’s Symphony and was able to go on and win convincingly by 2 1/4 lengths.

Congratulations to her connections, it seems they are going to have some fun this preparation.  All being well she will be given her chance in a fillies and mares race at Flemington on new years day.
