Homebred gelding Charlies Tin notched up another win, this time on his home track at the Bool taking out the BM58 2350m race. Out of our mare Tina’s Debut who Matthew also trained, his race record now reads 8-2:1:0
Given a great front running ride by jockey Will Gordon he jumped from barrier 10 and was able to push forward and take up the lead. Relaxing well in front he kept a few lengths ahead of the field for the majority of the race and wasn’t threatened until the 600m mark where he kept finding and was too strong holding off the closers by half a length.
Congratulations to his connections, with two wins already this preparation he is really enjoying getting out over these distance races.
