Stable star Turnitaround made it three from three on Saturday, taking out the 2000m Might and Power Handicap at Flemington. Coming off a Warrnambool May Carnival win and another win at headquarters prior to that, the 5yo Hard Spun gelding has now taken his career earnings to over $380K amassing six wins and twelve placings from twenty-nine starts.

Given a gun ride by talented 3kg claiming apprentice Ben Thompson, he was one of three $4.40 equal favourites to fill the placings when he toughed it out to the line defeating Second Bullet by a long head, with the Darren Weir trained Killarney Kid three lengths away third.

Congratulations again to all of his owners, who I am sure are enjoying the ride as much as we are. It really is a good feeling to have a horse heading to the metropolitan meetings with a real genuine chance knowing that he will give 110%.
