After almost three hundred days since his last start due to injury you could understand the thoughts from the stable that Harbour Views may have needed the run, but today class prevailed and he proved us wrong by winning the listed Sofitel at Flemington over 1400m.
Jumping ok from barrier three with Damian Lane in the saddle he was shuffled back early to worse than mid field. Getting into the clear at the 300m he straightened and chased hard to claim the race right on the line.
