Turnitaround kicked our local carnival off to a great start on Tuesday when he took out the 1700m City Of Warrnambool Handicap for the second consecutive year.Given a great ride by Dean Yendall he jumped well from barrier one and travelled third in the run with cover. Yendall then edged towards the inside on the turn to get to the better going, taking the lead from race favourite Recalculate at the 300m mark.

There was some doubt heading into the race about his wet track form with the track rated a heavy 10, but he relished in the ground and was dominant to the line going on to win by 4 ΒΌ lengths.Coming only eight days after his previous win at Flemington, his stakes money is now in excess of $330K

Congratulations to all of his owners, it has been a fantastic prep so far and we are confident that his great form will continue.
