East Star returned to racing in good style with a win at Hamilton on Sunday. She relished in the soft going to win the 1100m BM64 race. Ridden very patiently by Dean Yendall he produced her at the top of the straight to finish off strongly and win by half a length.

It was a great reward for her owners patience after a long spell since January due to injury. She has always shown the stable her ability so it was good to get her back in the winners circle after winning her first start at Donald and running some unlucky races in January before her spell. Congratulations to Australian Thoroughbred Bloodstock and her other winning connections!
