New stable acquisition Danzoo has shown she is enjoying her new beach lifestyle, winning the 0-58 1200m race yesterday at Warrnambool. The 5yo old mare was given a great ride by Damien Thornton, settling just behind the speed and finishing off strongly to hold off a few late challengers. Damien had previously ridden her in gallops and trials so he knew her quite well.

She ran well first up at Penshurst on Boxing Day over 1000m, just finding the track abit too firm and finishing 4th. It was great to get a win from her so early in her preparation, for her great group of owners who also race promising gelding 'Like the Clappers'.

She seems to be enjoying the relaxed beach lifestyle and will now head towards a similar race at Terang on February the 2nd. Congratulations to her group of owners on the win!
