Break And Enter was able to add another country cup to his collection yesterday by taking out the 1800m Coleraine Cup in heavy eight conditions. There were some tense moments after crossing the line when he was able to hold onto the win from race favourite “Instigator”, in not only a photo finish but also a protest in the stewards room.
Ridden by Damien Thornton and jumping from barrier six he let the speed go forward and settled just off mid field three wide with cover. He made his move at the 600m mark and was flushed a little wide on the turn but let down well to fight out the finish in a tough win.
