Clairvaux was able to get his maiden win on the board yesterday on the last day of the Warrnambool Carnival. He won race 4 the 2 year old 1200 metre race. He was ridden well by jockey Ben Melham and he won impressively by 3.3 lengths. The race experience was definitely an advantage for him. Ben chose to stick to the inside part of the track on him coming into the straight which was a good move and this proved to be the best part of the track for the remainder of the meeting. It was a huge thrill to get a winner at our local carnival. Well done to ATB and the connections on a terrific win let’s hope there are plenty more to come in the future!
