Ex Waller trained gelding, Break and Enter was able to break his maiden status in good fashion on the middle day of the May carnival taking out the 1700m Super Vobis 3yo maiden. In trying conditions on a heavy 8 track the gelding by Wanted having only his third start, jumped well and sat 2nd throughout just outside the leader. He was able to maintain this position in the run before matching motors on the turn and was too strong to the line claiming the race by 1.5 lengths.
Given a great ride by in form jock Johnny Allan, he was able to hold off the fast finishing weir pair Truly High (2nd) and Bit Of A Lad (3rd).
