New Zealand import Wrote To Arataki was able to get her maiden win on the board at her home track at only her second career start.  Coming off a debut run at Hamilton where she placed 5th after the heavens opened and the track was downgraded to a heavy nine, the stable was keen to see her back on top of the ground.

Racing over 1400m with jockey Will Price in the saddle, she jumped from barrier 7 in a field of 8 and was able to get across and settle early into the one off one back position.  She travelled well before peeling out three wide on the turn and making her run in the straight proving too strong skipping away to go on and win by 2 1/4 lengths.

Congratulations to her owners some of whom were on course to celebrate the win. Off that win we are confident she will continue to progress through the grades and they will have a lot of fun along the way.
