After several scratchings in the last few weeks Lucky I'm barefoot was able to win the 0-82 1400 at Sandown on Wednesday. Under the guidence of claiming apprentice Tom Sadler he was able to pull away to win by a lenght. It was great to get a result for his owners after just missing out at the Warrnambool May carnival. He will now head to a open 1400 at Warrnambool on the 1st of July which is a 40k race and a heat of the winter championship.
