After the tragic passing of jockey Dean Holland we donated a share in a yearling by Toronado out of a Snitzel mare Dream Food, to be auctioned at a local fundraising event. The share raised more than $10,000 for Deans family which was a fantastic result. We then named the horse Foragoodcause because that is exactly what it was.
With Dean Yendall in the saddle he had his first start at Horsham in a 1100m maiden, which he won. After being slightly slow away from barrier five he finished up towards the tail of the field before sliding forward then over racing, three wide with no cover four lengths off the leader. Rounding the field at the 500m he joined in on the turn racing greenly, but was too strong on the line.
Congratulations to all of his connections, this win was extra special to our stable.
