Progressive three year old So You Think gelding Cachink justified his favouritism yesterday by winning a heat of the emerging stars series on his home track in good fashion. First up after being gelded Matthew was confident he would be running well after two credible starts during his first preparation.
Having to overcome the widest gate he jumped fast but was caught wide, however jockey Jordan Childs was able to go forward and settle second outside the leader. Cachink then took over on the turn and was too strong with a soft win on the line.
Congratulations to his connections who look to be in for some exciting days at the races. At this stage Cachink will head to Moonee Valley on the 15th of November.
