Two tendon injuries before joining our stable and more days since his last win than I’m sure his ownership group would care to remember, today Win O’Clock rewarded his owners for their patience and took out the feature 2200m Hamilton Cup. After an extensive rehab program overseen by Dr Andrew Cust, the stable was confident that Win O’Clock was on track when he hit the line strongly at his last start over 2000m at Caulfield.
Jumping ok from barrier four under jockey Tahlia Hope he settled second last about six lengths off the leaders before coming wide at the 300m mark and chasing down his rivals to claim the Cup.
Congratulations to OTI and his connections, Win O’Clock will now likely head to the Group 3 2400M Bendigo Cup on November 1st.
