Thornquest was able to break his maiden status at Warrnambool on Monday when he won race 3 the 1400 metre maiden. He switched off early in the race and was back in the field and he then charged home late down the middle of the track and really attacked the line to beat his stable mate Bold Horatio. He will now go to the paddock for a well desereved break and we will get him ready for a Winter preparation. Welldone to all the winning connections!
