Welcome to the Matthew Williams Thoroughbred Training Centre, We invite you to take the time to look over the training complex at Wangoom Lodge Warrnambool.
Training facilities including local beaches, recently constructed stables, exercise pool, galloping machine and walking machine are highlighted on the website, as well as a previews of the state of the art training tracks at the Warrnambool Race Course.
Matthew has recently had a aquatic walker installed which will enable the team to walk six horses at once chest high in water. The water walkers are great for horses with leg problems and will be a added bonus to the beach training already used.
There are some shares remaining in the Testa Rossa-Flying Camplin colt and Elvstroem-Shabet filly. All have broken in well and returned back in to the stable. Please feel free to take a look at the colts and fillies in the above icon Horses Available or contact Matthew.

Euge Wins At Geelong Euge was able to win well yesterday at Geelong on the Synthetic track. He took out race 7 the 0-58 1200 meter race. He was ridden very well by Jamie Mott. Euge made it our first winner on the synthetic track. Euge's owners are new clients to our stable and we congratulate them on a good yesterday. First Win For New Season Corsa Serale put another win on the board on Sunday when she won race 5 at Casterton. Jarrod Fry rode her very patiently and waited for the run to come on the fence and when it did she took the gap and hit the line well to just get the win. Welldone to all connections great to get another win with her! Stateside also ran well in the last race finishing third he should not be far away from another win. |
