Welcome to the Matthew Williams Thoroughbred Training Centre, We invite you to take the time to look over the training complex at Wangoom Lodge Warrnambool.
Training facilities including local beaches, recently constructed stables, exercise pool, galloping machine and walking machine are highlighted on the website, as well as a previews of the state of the art training tracks at the Warrnambool Race Course.
Matthew has recently had a aquatic walker installed which will enable the team to walk six horses at once chest high in water. The water walkers are great for horses with leg problems and will be a added bonus to the beach training already used.
Matthew is taking a five night tour to the Dubai World Cup in March to visit the new Dubai racecourse. At a all inclusive price of $4020 it is bound to be a great time. Contact Matthew for more info.

Big Day of Racing at the Bool on Sunday On Sunday the 10th of January the stables trianed a double at the Warrnambool Super Vobis day. Ginera Ground who was having her first run for our stable was able to win the 0-62 1200. Uxurious was very impressive winning the 1200 meter open maiden by three lengths in course record time. Flying Tessie Congratulations to the owners of Flying Tessie who won the last race on Melbourne Cup day at Flemington. Tessie was very impressive settling well back and charging to the line to win by two lenghts being eased down. Kerron Mcevoy was very pleased with the way she let down and felt there were bigger wins in stall. GO TESSIE........... |
